FAQ

  • Do you sell single bouquets?

Unfortunately, we do not sell single market bouquets; our bouquet offerings are subscription-based only. As a small studio without a public storefront, we aren’t set up to manage one-off bouquet orders. If you’d like to place a one-time flower order, please check out the options in our à la carte menu or submit an inquiry. We do offer bulk market bouquet orders through our à la carte menu, ideal for things like seasonal thank-you gifts, team appreciation, or a thoughtful gesture for a group.

Our subscription offerings are not market bouquets—they are medium sized floral arrangements designed in a handmade studio vessel. Each delivery includes a refundable vase deposit: you may either keep the artisan-made vase, or return it at the end of the season to receive your deposit back. This allows us to offer a more sustainable system while giving you the option to build a collection of locally crafted pieces over time.

If you are interested in a one-time market bouquet of local flowers, there are many wonderful local flower farms who attend the Historic Lewes Farmers Farmers Market on Saturdays during the summer and offer this.

  • What's the difference between a market bouquet and an arrangement?

A market bouquet is a quick, high-volume bundle of seasonal stems that’s tied simply for easy pickup and at-home arranging. There’s no vase, custom design work, or internal mechanics. It’s made efficiently in multiples, with a loose color palette and a fresh-from-the-garden feel, which keeps the price lower and the production fast.

A floral arrangement is designed directly into a vessel with structure, mechanics, and intentional composition. Every stem is placed for balance, movement, and longevity, and the piece arrives fully finished and ready to display. Because it requires more time, skill, and materials to create, the price reflects the level of artistry and care involved.

We choose arrangements over market bouquets because our focus is on the full experience: thoughtful design, sustainable mechanics, and a reusable artisan vessel that becomes part of your home. Our subscriptions are arrangements, not bouquets, because we want each delivery to feel complete when it arrives. You don’t need to trim stems, find a vase, or learn to arrange flowers. You simply receive a seasonal, designed piece that reflects the garden and brings beauty into your space without any extra steps.

  • Why shouldn’t I re-arrange the stems once the piece arrives?

We design each arrangement with intentional balance, movement, and color placement, so we encourage you not to take it apart and rearrange the flowers. Every stem has been chosen and positioned to support the overall shape, hydration, and longevity of the piece. Once the mechanics are disrupted, the flowers may not last as long, and the original design will be lost.

If you love arranging flowers yourself, a market-style bouquet or bulk stems are a better fit. But when you receive one of our arrangements, think of it as a finished artwork—already composed, ready to enjoy, and meant to be displayed just as it arrives.

  • How long do flowers last?

All of our flowers are harvested at peak freshness from our garden or sourced from regional growers, so most arrangements last 5–7 days with proper care. We include simple care instructions with every delivery to help extend vase life.

  • Where do the flowers come from?

Our subscriptions and à la carte florals are designed with flowers grown just steps from the studio in our micro flower garden. For events or larger-scale orders, we occasionally source extra blooms from nearby growers who share our values for seasonal, chemical-free flowers.

  • Do you use floral foam?

No—never. All of our arrangements are 100% foam-free and designed using reusable mechanics like chicken wire, kenzans, or branch armatures. It’s better for the planet and for the flowers.

  • Can I choose my colors?

Full color customization is available only through a custom design request. Our à la carte offerings and Flower Club subscriptions follow the rhythm of the season, with palettes shaped by what is growing in the garden. You may select a general palette preference when ordering, but the final colors are left to the studio’s discretion and the magic of what nature provides.

  • Can I skip a week?

Yes—subscribers may skip one delivery per season at no charge if requested at least 48 hours in advance. Skipped weeks can be rolled into a future delivery or credited toward an upgraded arrangement, as long as that delivery falls within the growing season.

  • Can I gift a subscription?

Yes! Flower subscriptions make beautiful and memorable gifts for birthdays, new homes, businesses, new parents, or “just because.” Gift subscriptions include a digital card and first-delivery note.

  • What happens if I forget to return the vase?

No problem if you’d like to keep the vase—your deposit will automatically convert into the purchase of that piece. If you return it anytime before the season ends, we’ll happily refund the deposit. If a vase isn’t returned, we’ll send a gentle reminder the following week; if two or more are kept, we may need to pause the next delivery until the vessels are returned.

  • Do you do wedding florals?

Yes, we offer à la carte wedding florals as well as full-service floral design for intimate and medium-sized events. Visit our a la carte page or submit an inquiry to learn more.

  • Can you provide flowers for my retreat, dinner, or gathering?

Absolutely. We offer à la carte floral packages for intimate events, including centerpieces, bud vase sets, and custom arrangements. If you're a retreat host looking for bundled florals + workshop facilitation, we offer that too.

  • What is your cancellation policy for workshops or retreats?

Because our DAY workshops rely on pre-purchased materials and limited spots, tickets are non-refundable. If you can’t attend, you may transfer your spot to a friend or request store credit if notified at least 7 days in advance. For international retreats, the cancellation policy will be clearly stated in the booking agreement.

  • Do you deliver?

Yes—local delivery (zip codes 19971 and 19958) is included with all subscriptions and available for à la carte orders within our service area. Delivery outside this radius may be possible for an added fee; just reach out to confirm. Free delivery anywhere in Sussex County normally applies with a minimum $400 order.

  • Do you ship flowers?

No—we currently do not ship fresh flowers. All floral offerings are available for local delivery only.

  • Do you sell dried flowers?

Seasonal dried flower bundles, wreaths, and keepsake items are occasionally available in our atelier shop or at markets. Dried flowers are not included in subscriptions unless noted.
