Rerooting the Spirit: Yoga, Kundalini and Herbalism Eco-Retreat

Relax into the freeze of the winter and transmute the depths of your underworld for an abundant spring. Join Amber Starr and Shandra for a retreat to reroot yourself with kundalini, yoga, embodiment practices, nature, nourishing food, and inner exploration.

The retreat takes place against the backdrop of the tranquil forest near Harpers Ferry, providing the perfect atmosphere for deep introspection and personal growth. Next to the Potomac River and nestled within the forest, the retreat house boasts breathtaking views. The on-site yoga shala offers a stunning vantage point of the river, and the property also features ancient caves to explore.

During our time together we will explore what it means to truly descend into the depths of our inner worlds to be able to transform our outer worlds.

In our descent, we will work with the heart opening qualities of Cacao and the protective and immune supporting qualities of osha root, echinacea, and nettle. Along the journey, the grounded calmness of chamomile, lavender, and kava are there to support you.

You can look to nature for spiritual wisdom, and its’ ability to transform, transmute, overcome, and flourish. We will focus on the concept of transmutation, and learn how the underworld of nature is connected to all of the processes and cycles of the natural world.

Amber Starr

A little over six years ago, yoga teacher training helped me discover my quest for healing and sharing that with others. This time of my life was filled with huge change, LOVE and positivity which “cracked my heart wide open” like nothing ever had before. I’ve delved deep into the SELF, nutrition, plant medicine and embodiment practices like somatic healing.

My certifications include: YTT 200hr, partial 300hr continuum, with Dimitra Yoga, an Internal strength and mobility coach through the FRS system, Sacred Facilitation as a women’s group space holder and Certified Herbalist. Reiki Lv 1 and 2 certified.
